The former fuel point /locomotive depot was still relatively unchanged.

Once the standard gauge line was diverted the infamous High Street level crossing was no more.

Albury Station.

Former Broad Gauge terminus.

Note the buses ,on extreme right hand side, used to carry passengers to Seymour

whilst the broad gauge line was been converted to standard gauge.

Construction of the rail bridge over the Lincoln Causeway has begun.

One lane each way was closed to allow bridge construction.

Site of former Yackandandah station

Up direction.

Yackandandah station 1910 and 1950's.

Yackandandah was the location for the 2004 movie "Strange Bedfellows" which starred Paul Hogan and Michael Caton

and also the 1990's (?) movie "A Far Country" which starred Michael York and Sigrid Thornton.

These 2009 photographs of the former Rushworth station were taken by Cass Alexander with whom I worked at Crawford Productions in 1968.

Cass owns the copyrights to these photos and has allowed me to place them on this site.

Rushworth was the junction to the Colbinabbin and Girgarre branches.

The standard gauge branch from Wodonga Coal Sidings to Bandiana is now closed.

The Wodonga to Bandiana broad gauge branch closed in 1995.

and has been joined to the main line.

Former staff barracks where "foreign" crews stayed before returning trains to their own depots usually Melbourne , Junee , Goulburn or Sydney.

Steamrail Victoria ran a vintage train from Melbourne to Mildura.

Whilst in Mildura

Steamrail Victoria Inc ran shuttles all day down to

returned to Mildura,

ran up to Irymple

then back to Mildura.

Standard Gauge crossing loop at Belair looking in up direction.

The original broad gauge Up line has been converted to standard gauge.

If you're travelling on an Adelaide suburban train try to get a seat at the very front as you'll have a driver's eye view of the track ahead.

The station has been closed for many years.

The building is currently used by Radio Rhema 104.9FM

and it's literature division "On Track" Book Shop.

bridge girders have been placed

over the Lincoln Causeway.
